About LöFAB

LöFAB was created to address a structural gap in the European defence market: the need for sovereign, scalable manufacturing capacity that complements, rather than competes with, established OEMs.

We operate as an OEM-neutral industrial partner, supporting:

• Licensed production and assembly

• Component manufacturing

• Maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)

• Technology transfer and industrialization

• Programme scale-up from Initial Operating Capability (IOC) to Full-Rate Production (FRP)

Our role is to extend OEM capacity into the Nordics, Baltics and NATO, ensuring continuity of production and sustainment where domestic manufacturing is required by policy or programme structure.

LöFAB is an ISP-approved manufacturer, licensed by the Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP), Sweden’s national authority responsible for defence manufacturing oversight and export control.

Our operations are aligned with:

• FMV (Försvarets materielverk) requirements

• EU defence industrial policy

• NATO programme standards and expectations

• Applicable export control and security regulations

This regulatory foundation enables LöFAB to support OEM programmes within Europe while maintaining compliance with national and international defence frameworks.

LöFAB operates a vertically integrated manufacturing operation in Sweden, supported by an EU-based supply chain, subcontractor network, and skilled workforce.

An initial 60,000 ft² / 5574 m² industrial footprint is configured for phased expansion, redundancy, and continuity of operations, supporting programmes from Initial Operating Capability (IOC) through Full-Rate Production (FRP) for EU and NATO customers.

Facility is designed to support:

• NATO standard and military specification testing procedures

• Secure handling of controlled technologies

• Quality assurance and inspection

• Long-term programme scalability

LöFAB is structured to integrate cleanly into existing OEM programme models.

We support OEMs through:

LöFAB does not market or sell proprietary weapon systems. Our focus is exclusively on manufacturing, sustaining, and supporting OEMs for government-authorized programmes.
